Malo lava le galue

Another fantastic professional development group meeting for our Malaeola educators.

It was great to see all the work that is being done in the homes during education and care.  Lots of sharing of potfolios, art work, learning plans and best practice.

Thank you to our teaching team: Tina Manase, Siitia Lauvi-Anae and Nive Paulo. Its a testament to both the work you do and the special relationships you have formed when there is a well attended meeting of over half our Educators.

Another successful Educator’s meeting

It was a great turnout for our first Educators meeting of the year for Malaeola, your input and feedback as Educators is always valued.

Main discussion points from our meeting:

*  Holiday pay and Sick leave

*  Copies of First Aid Certificates for the Ministry of Education

*  Playgroup

*  Driver Licensing support

*  Suggestions and topics for future Educator meetings

*  Education & Care Feedback and Ideas

And of course a well presented and informative workshop from Nive and Tina on children’s portfolios and learning stories.

It’ll be exciting to see all that learning reflected in the children’s portfolios in the coming weeks and months.

We will also be organising parent/teacher/educator interviews over the next couple of weeks and will be as accommodating as possible with timing.

Enjoy the rest of your week and keep up the fantastic work!
