I have my own children under 5 that stay at home with me can I still look after other children?

So long as someone else is at home looking after your own children, then we can have you look after 4 children under 5.

If the children at home are over the age of 5, then you are fine to look after 4 children under the age of 5.

If there is no one at home looking after your children under the age of 5, then for each of these children under 5, you will have to limit the total number of children under 5 to a maximum of 4, including your own children under 5.
