What is Mo Tatou In-home Early Childhood Education and Care about?

Mo Tatou is an early childhood education and care service that engages Educators to provide a home based learning programme based on Te Whariki for children 0-5 years of age.

We provide resources, training and support to the Educator through our Visiting Teacher and Community Consultant and help deliver a programme that is based on the aspirations of the child’s family.

If the family chooses to have their child taught in their language and culture, we are also able to provide resources and support around this.

The parents/family’s choice of an Educator is very important and we believe that most parents and families will be able to identify the appropriate person within their family, extended family or community.

If the parents/family are unable to identify an Educator we will help to find one that fits the needs of your child.
