When would the Ministry of Education not fund a service provider when a family member is an educator for children in their own family home?

The Ministry of Education does not provide funding:

  •  for an educator’s family member (child) if that educator has the ongoing responsibility for providing the day to day care and education of that family member. The child is considered to be the educators own child
  •  if the child is living with the educator on an ongoing basis in the educators own home, in this situation the child is considered to be that educators own child
  •  if the educator is a family member and living in the child’s home and the child’s home is not available at the same time for the care and education of other children who are not family members.
